Basketball Recap: Trinity Classical's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

White Creek Christian Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Trinity Classical proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the White Creek Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 66-57. The victory was some much needed relief for Trinity Classical as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, White Creek Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Maximus Whitmire, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 24 points. Those 24 points gave Whitmire a new career-high. Luke Shook was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Trinity Classical's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for White Creek Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

Trinity Classical won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Eastgate Life Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastgate Life Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.7 points per game this season. As for White Creek Christian Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on War Hill Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White Creek Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully War Hill Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
