Buhler lost against Mulvane on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crusaders took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Buhler saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Carson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Buhler's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Mulvane, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-2 record this season.

Buhler will square off against Abilene at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mulvane, they will welcome Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
