The Greenwood Rangers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 110-43 victory over Pecos. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Greenwood with their most commanding win of the season.
Greenwood was led to victory by Landen Stewart and Tatum Pierce. Stewart scored 32 points, while Pierce scored 43 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stewart has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagen Burchfield, who scored ten points.
Despite the loss, Pecos still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Perello, who scored 27 points. Perello is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Dominic Armendariz was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
The victory (which was Greenwood's sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.8 points per game. As for Pecos, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.
Greenwood will head out on the road to face off against Fort Stockton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greenwood has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 752 points over their last ten matchups. As for Pecos, they will be playing at home against Seminole at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pecos is coming into the match with three straight defeats at home, meaning Seminole will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
