Coastal Mississippi Homeschool lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hattiesburg HomeSchool, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Forerunners on Tuesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Garrison Holland spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, Alex Moody was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Sam Murphy was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Coastal Mississippi Homeschool kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.

Coastal Mississippi Homeschool's record is now 10-7. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Coastal Mississippi Homeschool and Hattiesburg HomeSchool will both be playing Laurel HomeSchool the next time they take the field. The Forerunners will head out to face the Knighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Wildcats will host them at 1:30 p.m. on the 9th.
