The Kingman Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. The contest between Kingman and Parker wasn't particularly close, with Kingman falling 58-39. If Kingman hoped to take revenge for the 50-47 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Kingman's loss came despite strong showings from Naliq Davis and Wesley Larson. Davis scored ten points, while Larson scored eight points along with three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Logan Drummond, who scored five points along with two blocks.
Kingman's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-9. As for Parker, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingman will take on Odyssey Institute at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Odyssey Institute has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. Parker won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wickenburg at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Wickenburg will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Parker is ranked 153rd).
