It was a good run, but Waldron unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Hillsdale Academy Colts. The Spartans lost against the Colts in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 57-27 score last time.

Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Hillsdale Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Waldron and Camden-Frontier will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Hillsdale Academy, they and Will Carleton Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
