On Sunday, Unioto ended up a good deal behind Fairland and lost 59-43. Unioto has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Shermans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was K.B. Perkins, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. The game was Perkins' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Fitch, who scored 12 points.
Unioto now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Fairland, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Unioto and Adena will face off at 7:15 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Adena focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday. As for Fairland, they will be playing at home against Gallia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
