The Blacklick Valley Vikings entered their tilt with the Harmony Area Owls with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Blacklick Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 win over Harmony Area on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Blacklick Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Brown, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that Brown pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Greg Schilling, who scored 16 points.

Blacklick Valley will play host again and welcome Northern Cambria, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Blacklick Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Northern Cambria likes a good challenge.
