After soaring to 57 points the game before, the Triplains/Brewster Titans were a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Wallace County, falling 58-25. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Triplains/Brewster in their matchups with Wallace County: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Triplains/Brewster still got an impressive performance from Nick Zerr, who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Carson Schmidt, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals.
Triplains/Brewster now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Wallace County, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-2.
Triplains/Brewster will head out on the road to face off against Greeley County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greeley County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Wallace County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Weskan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weskan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Wallace County likes a good challenge.
