Covenant waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions with a sharp 66-41 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Covenant was led to victory by Luke Thomason and Wyatt Webb. Thomason went 8 of 15 on his way to 23 points, while Webb dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Webb a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Jolly, who posted nine points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Covenant was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nazarene Christian Academy only posted six assists.

Alexander Neal and Carson Benoist certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Neal went 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points and seven boards, while Benoist put up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Jordan, who had four points and five boards.

Covenant is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Covenant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-20 victory against Lucas Christian Academy on the 14th. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-37 loss against Calvary Academy on the 14th.
