Green has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Green was even better at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news, St. Pius X got a  massive  performance out of  McKayla Cable, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and a  run.  Gabriella Casco was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 On Deming's side,  Jacqueline Aguayo was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with two  triples and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tiffany Nunez, who  scored a  run and  stole a base.
 The  win (which was St. Pius X's seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-5. As for Deming, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.
 St. Pius X will face off against Artesia at 9:00  a.m.  on Thursday. St. Pius X knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Artesia likes a good challenge. Deming does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
