The Baldwin Indians lost against the ED White Commanders back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Baldwin suffered a tough 36-14 loss at the hands of ED White. Baldwin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kelvin Brown and Neshawn Jacobs certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Brown rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while Jacobs only rushed for 29 yards. Brown was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
ED White can attribute much of their success to Darien Hookfin, who rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Tony Williams was in the mix too, providing ED White with two touchdowns.
Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for ED White, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
Baldwin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. ED White will head out on the road to face off against Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Riverside is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
