The Wapahani Raiders put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Alexandria-Monroe at home to the tune of 64-34. Considering Wapahani has won five games by more than 29 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Isaac Andrews continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Wapahani's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Luce, who scored 14 points along with five assists.
Wapahani pushed their record up to 7-0 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.21 points. As for Alexandria-Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wapahani will face off against Frankton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frankton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Wapahani is ranked tenth). Alexandria-Monroe and Tri-Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tri-Central will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
