The Oak Hill Golden Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Logansport by a score of 76-67. The victory was just what Oak Hill needed coming off of a 48-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
Oak Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jace Tonagel, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and three steals. Tonagel is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rj Shugart, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
Logansport lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chris anthony Delvalle, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Isaac Russell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with four steals.
Oak Hill is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Logansport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will stay at home for another game and welcome Blackford at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hopefully Blackford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Logansport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winamac at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Logansport has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 328 points over their last five games.
