Broadwater Academy won the last time they faced Atlantic Shores Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings blew past the Seahawks 14-1. Considering the Vikings have won four matches by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ramsey Revelle made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

In other batting news, Broadwater Academy got a big performance out of Elana Hickman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ava Webb, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Broadwater Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Atlantic Shores Christian only posted an OBP of .278.

Broadwater Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broadwater Academy will challenge Tidewater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they will take on Hampton Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Seahawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
