Wetumpka entered their tilt with Munford on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Lions 7-0. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Abigail Adams tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sophie Arant and Ava Farmer did most of the damage at the plate: Arant scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Farmer scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Wetumpka's victory bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Munford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-3.

Wetumpka wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against North Sand Mountain on the 22nd. As for Munford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 victory against Ider on the 21st.
