Softball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Windsor's Fourth in Last Five Outings

While Windsor's victory against Greensville County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dukes' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 1-0 shutout on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-6 last Tuesday.

Windsor has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Greensville County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.
