After two weeks on the road, Wahlert is heading back home. On Friday they take on Marion at 7:15 PM. Wahlert are limping into the game on a six-game losing streak.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-45, which was the final score in Wahlert's tilt against Xavier last Friday. Wahlert were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Meanwhile, Marion were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything came up roses for them against Maquoketa as the team secured a 42-7 win. With Marion ahead 28-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Marion's victory lifted them to 3-3 while Wahlert's loss dropped them down to 0-6. We'll find out if Marion can add another positive mark to their record or if Wahlert can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Marion's step.
