Clinton extended the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Constantine, 47-28. This was the team's 12th consecutive win.
Whiteford fell to New Lothrop 58-22 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Clinton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. TJ Baker threw for 200 and 4 touchdowns and Mathew Sexton had 165 yards receiving. On the ground Collin Poore chipped in 180 yards. Poore helped Clinton's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 16 yards.
Baker put up the best numbers in passing as Scott Mcnitt's team beat the Falcons. Baker's favorite target this week was Sexton, who caught 4 passes for 165 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Redskins' Baker and Sexton have proven to be a lethal combination. Baker has thrown for 1,868 yards this season, while Sexton has 33 catches for 1,059 yards. Summerfield's Josh Golkiewicz leads the league in rushing yards with 1,805.
Entering into this week's contest against Shelby, Baker is short just 132 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.
The Redskins led the league in scoring this week by notching 47 points on Constantine. Baker ran for 80 yards in the win.
