Softball Recap: Mead Wins Going Away Against Ferris

Mead's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Ferris Saxons with a sharp 18-10 win. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mead's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Ferris, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mead will welcome Lewis & Clark at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ferris, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eisenhower at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
