This season hasn't been kind to the O'Neal Falcons, who are still winless after their tenth game. They were outmatched by Westminster Catawba Christian at home and fell 81-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points O'Neal has scored all season.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Boyd Kenny, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Nick Joyce, who scored six points.
O'Neal's defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
O'Neal's homestand continues as they prepare to take on North Moore at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully North Moore focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Davidson Day at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davidson Day is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
