The Clinton Dark Horses were the 49-43 winner over the James Kenan Tigers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Clinton received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 41-26 to James Kenan. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clinton has scored all season.
Rubi Davila was Clinton's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Ava Williford held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
Clinton's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for James Kenan, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Clinton will be playing at home against Red Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Red Springs is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for James Kenan, they will head out on the road to take on Southwest Onslow at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Onslow is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
