The Algonac Muskrats will square off against the Woodhaven Warriors at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Algonac is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last four games.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Ava Murray, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs. Those  two  runs gave  her a new career-high.
Meanwhile,  after a string of 11 wins, Woodhaven's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell  3-0 to Chelsea. The Warriors were red-hot at the plate heading into the  game (they scored no less than ten  runs in the three  contests prior), but the Bulldogs' pitcher proved too tough.
 Woodhaven also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Natilee Pridemore gave up three earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.
 Algonac now  has a winning record of 13-12-1. As for Woodhaven, their defeat dropped their record down to 26-5.
Thursday's   matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Algonac hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .319. However, it's not like Woodhaven struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .403. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
