Basketball Game Preview: School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions vs. O'Farrell Charter Falcons

Two dominant guards in Kameron Owens and Liona Rusom are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions will take on the O'Farrell Charter Falcons at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so O'Farrell Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 48-17 victory over Preuss UCSD. The Lions pushed the score to 36-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tritons had little chance of recovering from.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology can attribute much of their success to Owens, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 steals, and Anicka Redondo, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Those 11 steals gave Owens a new career-high. Jannat Assiaban was another key player, putting up two points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, O'Farrell Charter waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They managed a 41-36 win over the Griffins.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology better keep an eye on Rusom. She was instrumental in O'Farrell Charter's win, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 steals. With that strong performance, Rusom is now averaging an impressive 2.3 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Ty'Reiona WashingTon, who posted 12 points and three steals.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for O'Farrell Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Things could have been worse for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 36-22 loss to O'Farrell Charter in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can School for Entrepreneurship & Technology avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
