Spanish Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaliyah Vance, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Reese Wakefield, who scored 14 points.
Galena lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ramona Peterson, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Mia Turner was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Spanish Springs has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Galena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
