The Glenn Falcons will head out to square off against the Boone Grove Wolves at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Glenn's victory against Knox wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons won by a run and slipped past the Redskins 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.
Brendin Hodges spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

Meanwhile, Boone Grove waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Brickies by a score of 8-4.
Tristan Wilson and Javy Carrera made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Wilson tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Carrera struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Wilson has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Wilson went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Carrera went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Seth Pitcock, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Boone Grove is undefeated when Pitcock posts two or more runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Ben Truby also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Boone Grove kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in five consecutive matches.
Boone Grove's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Glenn, their record now sits at 5-8.
