The Scappoose Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 59-49 win over Tillamook. That's another feather in the cap for Scappoose, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tillamook's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Vivian Vogel, who scored 24 points, and Aubrey Hilton who scored 15 points along with two blocks. Tatum Lancaster was another key contributor, scoring two points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Scappoose's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Tillamook, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Scappoose will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cheesemakers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Tillamook focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday. As for they, they will head out on the road to take on Scappoose at 7:00 p.m.
