Preston fought the good fight in their overtime game against Timberline on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Timberline Wolves. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Preston fell to 7-1. As for Timberline, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Preston will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Timberline and Kuna will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Timberline has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
