Baseball Recap: Angola Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Angola, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Central Noble Cougars on Thursday as they made off with a 15-5 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hornets have posted against the Cougars since April 25, 2017.

Angola got a massive performance out of Myles Steury, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Steury a new career-high. Jackson Steury was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Angola always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Angola's record is now 5-13. As for Central Noble, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
