The Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines won the last time they faced the Eastern Tech Mavericks, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Western Tech & Environmental Science snuck past the Mavericks with a 55-51 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Western Tech & Environmental Science.
Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthew Foley, who scored nine points. Brian James Jr was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Western Tech & Environmental Science's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Eastern Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.
Western Tech & Environmental Science will head out on the road to face off against the Mavericks at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Manchester Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for Eastern Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Overlea has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 573 points over their last seven matches.
