Tatum is 8-2 against Logan since August of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tatum Coyotes will head out on the road to face off against the Logan Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Tatum is ranked 12th, while Logan is ranked ninth).
Last Friday, Tatum came up short against Clayton and fell 40-28.
Despite the loss, Tatum had strong showings from Carlos Martinez, who rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns, and Anthony Duffy, who picked up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three match, Logan finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were beaten by Melrose 54-0.
The losses dropped Tatum to 5-4 and Logan to 6-3.
Tatum skirted past Logan 8-6 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tatum since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
