Meanwhile, Brooklyn had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cuyahoga Heights on Tuesday and snuck past 46-44.
Kirtland's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Brooklyn, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
