North Hills Christian blew past Statesville Christian 12-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted against the Lions since March 10, 2022.

Chris Barringer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for North Hills Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise.
In other batting news, Jackson Hall was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Gracin Craig was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Lee Park Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to Grace Academy.
Lee Park Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Arant, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
North Hills Christian's record now sits at 4-6. As for Lee Park Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Hills Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lee Park Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
North Hills Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Lee Park Prep when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Hills Christian since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
