After losing to Sweet Home the last time they met, Junction City decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers strolled past the Huskies with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  24-7. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Zaidensen Dodson was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 121 yards and one  score.  Madix Waldrop also deserves some recognition as  he  rushed for his first  rushing yards of the season.
 Junction City's run defense was locked in: Sweet Home could only muster three yards per carry. The Tigers' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.3.
Junction City's record now sits at 4-2. As for Sweet Home, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 5-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Junction City will  take on  rival Philomath  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Sweet Home is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Crescent Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
