Kings might have lost, but man, Kennady Horsley was a machine: she had 21 digs and one assist. Horsley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Meanwhile, St. Ursula Academy faced Archbishop McNicholas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rockets. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won eight in a row.
The victory didn't come easy: Archbishop McNicholas scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-21.
Kings' defeat dropped their record down to 18-3. As for St. Ursula Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
