Niangua is 1-9 against the Eagles since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Niangua Cardinals will look to defend their home court against the Bradleyville Eagles at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Niangua's favor as the squad sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Eagles have been banged up by 14 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
In what's become a running theme this season, Niangua gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Fair Play 51-26. Given Niangua's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Hornets are ranked 515th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Bradleyville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Everton at home to the tune of 78-34. That looming 78-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Bradleyville yet this season.
Niangua is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Bradleyville, their victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-16.
Everything came up roses for Niangua against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 83-49 victory. Will Niangua repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
