The Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers won the last time they faced the Western Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Pleasure Ridge Park simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Western 71-24 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pleasure Ridge Park.
Despite the loss, Western still got an impressive performance from Leslie Bright, who scored 17 points. Bright scored a full 70.8% of Western's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Pleasure Ridge Park's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Western, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasure Ridge Park will challenge DuPont Manual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western, they will head out on the road to face off against Ballard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
