The Canyon State Academy Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the El Dorado Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Canyon State Academy comes in on three and El Dorado on four.
Canyon State Academy proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 37) but last Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Sequoia Charter out 55-52.
Meanwhile, El Dorado can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Ridgeview College Prep 70-32 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory El Dorado has posted since December 6, 2023.
El Dorado's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chris Zaragoza, who scored 21 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zaragoza has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Young, who scored 18 points along with seven steals.
Canyon State Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for El Dorado, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
