The Hersey Huskies will head out on the road to  square off against  the McHenry Warriors at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Having struggled with six  defeats in a row, Hersey finally turned things around against Palatine  on Thursday. Hersey narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Palatine  6-5.
  Evan Fahey looked comfortable as he  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Drew Phillips was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and a  triple. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen two or more in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mikey Sokan, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, McHenry gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. Everything went their way against Stevenson as McHenry made off with  a  13-3 victory. Winning may never get old, but McHenry sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Hersey's win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 19-14. As for McHenry, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 19 of their last 23 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record  this season.
 Hersey came out on top in a nail-biter against McHenry  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023, sneaking past  5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hersey since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
