Franklin fell to Loreauville 0-20 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Everything went Franklin's way against Loreauville on Friday as they made off with a 28-0 win. Franklin were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Franklin's record up to 2-3. Loreauville are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Franklin take on Delcambre at 7:00 PM. Delcambre took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Franklin's good fortune. Loreauville will look to defend their home turf against Catholic of Pointe Coupee at 7:00 PM. Loreauville stagger into the contest hobbled by five consecutive losses while Catholic of Pointe Coupee skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
