Council Rock North was dealt a 63-31 loss at the hands of Neshaminy on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Council Rock North has scored all season.
It was another big night for Nate Townsend, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and six assists for Neshaminy. The game was Townsend's third in a row with at least ten points. Emeer Coombs was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Council Rock North are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Neshaminy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Council Rock North will face off against Pennsbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennsbury will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Neshaminy, they will head out on the road to face off against Bensalem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bensalem will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
