Addison won the last time they faced Phillips and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bears 48-6. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Addison's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Roberts, who threw for 113 yards and four TDs on only eight passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. Those four passing touchdowns gave Roberts a new career-high. Judah Wilkins was another key player, picking up 48 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Addison didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kash Turner, Scout Flynn, and Trennon Burns picked up one apiece.

Addison pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.4 points on average over those games. As for Phillips, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Addison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Phillips, they will face off against Tharptown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.89 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
