Fulton extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 19-9-1 in the process. Everything went their way against the Washburn Pirates as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

As for Washburn, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Washburn's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Clay, who went 1-for-2 with two runs. Clay has become a key player for the Pirates: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7-1 otherwise.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fulton will take on Apostolic Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Washburn, they will square off against Hancock County on Monday. The Pirates are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
