For the second week in a row, Scottsbluff is taking on York. The Bearcats will welcome the Dukes  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Scottsbluff will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Scottsbluff and York have met, but the home crowd finally got their W  on Friday. The Bearcats walked away with  a   33-20  victory over the Dukes.

 Nate Kelley continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 167 yards and four  TDs. That's the most  rushing touchdowns  he has posted since back in November of 2024.  Daniel Young got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

That dominant aerial defense primarily came from five players:  Kelley,  Keon Delgado,  Caleb Burda,  Jaxson Esparza,  and  Young, who each logged one passes deflected. Scottsbluff wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 66.7%.
 Scottsbluff's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for York,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-4.
 Friday's   contest might be decided on the ground. Scottsbluff has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 285.9  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like York struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 160.1  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
