Lee Vining is 2-8 against the Crusaders since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Lee Vining Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Immanuel Christian Crusaders at 5:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Lee Vining, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-29 loss to the Warriors. Lee Vining has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Immanuel Christian put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They breezed by Owens Valley at home to the tune of 63-27. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-14.
Immanuel Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Izaiah Galvez out in front who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Galvez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mathew Guevara, who scored eight points along with five assists and three steals.
Lee Vining has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Immanuel Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Lee Vining was taken down by the Crusaders 51-20 in their previous matchup back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lee Vining was down 30-3.
