In what's become a running theme this season, the Hillsboro Burros gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hunters Lane 61-10 at home. The win was familiar territory for Hillsboro who now have four in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Shinae Johnson, who scored 20 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ragan Starks, who scored 13 points.
Hillsboro pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Hunters Lane, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will take on East Nashville Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (East Nashville Magnet: 29.3, Hillsboro: 29.4) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Hunters Lane, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McGavock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McGavock knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Hunters Lane likes a good challenge.
