The Knox Redskins were the 55-38 winner over the Pioneer Panthers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Knox fell 45-35 to Pioneer on Tuesday. Knox has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Knox's loss came despite strong showings from Myles Mclaughlin and Rowen Jordan. Mclaughlin scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Jordan scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Mclaughlin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.
Knox's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Pioneer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.
Knox didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-41 loss vs. Tippecanoe Valley on the 9th. Pioneer has also already played their next game, a 60-45 win against Culver Community on the 9th.
