The Barstow Knights will play host again and welcome the Summit Christian Academy Eagles, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Barstow slipped by the Raiders 42-41. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Barstow has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Summit Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Van Horn 54-23 at home. The win was nothing new for Summit Christian Academy as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Summit Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mike Thomas iii, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Thomas iii has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Max Rieger was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Barstow is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Summit Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 19-6 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
Barstow won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by the Eagles 49-48. Does Barstow have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
