On Thursday Urban Prep-West Campus take on Dunbar at 4:15 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Urban Prep-West Campus made easy work of Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville/Air Force Academy last Saturday and carried off a 40-6 victory. Junior Nguessen Solomon was the offensive standout of the match for Urban Prep-West Campus, as he passed for 252 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Dunbar took their matchup against Marine Leadership Academy by a conclusive 42-8 score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Dunbar had established a 34-8 advantage.
Their wins bumped Urban Prep-West Campus to 2-2 and Dunbar to 4-0. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Urban Prep-West Campus and Dunbar will really light up the scoreboard.
