Wolfe City is 8-2 against Campbell since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolves will welcome the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Wolfe City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Hylee Crowell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Lyric Sandlin was incredible, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Alyssa Guiette was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Celeste, falling 15-0.
Wolfe City is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Campbell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
Campbell's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wolfe City hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .390. It's a different story for Campbell, though, as they've only averaged .189. Will they be able to contain Wolfe City's hitters?
